@AbraxasVGC Having to grind and declaring this as something negative is also a bad argument, because that was never necessary and there's nothing wrong with training or having less boring battles.
It's also no problem to lose sometime. Just put in more effort and wins will be more rewarding.
@derpyJemanden@_AutumnQueen@LittleMoonBoy1@AbraxasVGC The newer games are way easier with all the EXP that's thrown at you.
You actively have to avoid catching/fighting, i.e. playing the game, to not get too overlevelled and one-shot everything. Especially BDSP was really bad.
They need to balance it more and/or make it optional.
@AbraxasVGC Back in XY, yes, because you could turn it off anytime, but nowadays you're forced to use it, which is a downgrade to what we had before.
You really have to avoid playing the game to not get too overlevelled and one-shot everything. BDSP was probably the worst in that regard.
@nickvanginkel@JoeMerrick@McSmurray Isn't the point that they ruin the fun for the actual fans?
Not buying a product you want doesn't solve that. The fun is still ruined either way, because you're not getting the product you'd like to have.
@JoeMerrick I think it might not be around for that much longer if they don't fix exactly that - the (solo) ranked experience.
I still like watching it in tournaments but I couldn't keep playing myself anymore. Too much BS.
This game really had potential, but sadly, it was slowly ruined.
@JoeMerrick They had all the potential just to ruin the player experience for some short term profit. It's really unfortunate to see because it was fun once...
@neptombz@UltraBall5@Pokeboy890@JoeMerrick Pokeboy said he hopes Nintendo stands their ground, then you said *they* mostly don't even release physical games but plastic downloads.
@pokejungle@SerebiiNet TiMi surely did a great job at making people dislike and quite the game...
It's really unfortunate because it had great potential and it was actually decent some long time ago.
@radiocaf@SexytimeSexton@VirtuallyMarti That's true, but then getting on the internet and saying things like "it's just a game" or "you probably have a 100% M2 anyways" etc. is really bad taste and quite ironic, too
@RealDanitinkis@JoeMerrick@SerebiiNet They could simply go back to 6h CDs (11am-5pm) but their data said most people play 3h, so thanks to their dumb interpretation of the data they reduced it back to 2pm-5pm only. The hottest time in summer and the darkest in winter. No flexibility.
