FG Partners with Amazon Web Services to Offer Free Digital Skills Training in Nigerian Tertiary Institutions

The Federal Ministry of Education (@NigEducation) has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide free training and certification in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other digital skills to students and educators across Nigeria’s tertiary institutions.

The initiative, part of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has already launched in 43 federal universities and polytechnics and is expanding to state and private institutions. The programme will be fully funded by AWS and the Ministry, making certification 100% free.

Institutions have until July 19, 2025, to nominate coordinators via an official form. This collaboration is designed to equip Nigerian youth with 21st-century skills and enhance national competitiveness in the digital economy.
