I am not being able to transfer my money from my previous employer to my latest employer pf account because the previous employer pf account had “EPS” account but they didn’t make any contribution towards EPS.

Moreover, why should an employee like me face such harrasment to withdraw his own hard-earned money because of clerical errors that an ordinary employee is not supposed to have knowledge about? Feels like the money is lost. Is there any convenient solution, or the money is lost?
