@EDSdt1234@Yankees And now the delay because of the horse race brings the storm risk more into play.
I’m watching on TV so doesn’t impact me. But this TV money grab through Fox screws the people in attendance.
@EDSdt1234@Yankees Not likely. Because if that was the case they would want to start on time (or earlier) to get game in.
They aren’t waiting an hour just “to see” if thunderstorms might be in area.
Happens all the time when back to back sporting events are on the same network. It’s about the $
@vzmercogliano In no world should a retool be shaped around four 2nd/3rd line centers who will all be 30+ next year and are all in the downturn of their careers.
@JacobBSpeaks And the metrics also prove he’s a career 217 hitter who had a massive hot streak to bring him up to…. 208 this year.
Embarrassing that he ever hits in front of judge, especially considering his leadoff stats are worse than his overall numbers.
@DobberHockey If I’m Drury I’m offering the #5 pick plus Trocheck to try and get Robertson.
Dallas has about $11M cap space with Robertson projected for $13M+ and Borque at $6.9M. Plus Bunting and Benn have to be replaced. Dallas is in cap trouble right now.
@BrandonTierney Starting pitching is NOT the Yankees problem.
Need a righty 3B (unless Cabby plays well there)
Need a righty C.
Need a closer with a low WHIP so Bednar can pitch 7 & 8.
@JoeFortunatoBSB All true, but Minny has very little to trade. No top prospects or #1 pick. They already gave all that away for Hughes.
I’m hoping something materializes with Detroit or Carolina or Anaheim who all have more to offer.
If I want to dream bigger: something with Dallas for JRob.
