I became familiar with this technique in the #dermatology space. Recently at @folligenz we used related Raman-based technology to verify liposomal minoxidil sulfate crossing the stratum corneum which, to my knowledge, is the first-ever use of this approach for this molecule class.

Typical studies use franz diffusion cells on pig ears while we had actual human subjects and spatial mapping in human tissue. (Performed by CRO CTI-CERT).
