2025 $RISE: This was an earlier Solana memecoin he pushed hard around Feb 20-21, 2025. It had features like a deflationary/token-burning mechanism (he claimed >12% supply burned). It pumped (he was calling 4-6x moves) but, based on his current story, it rugged (dev or insiders dumped). He bought in initially because the ticker/logo resonated but later distanced himself by calling out the serial rugger behind multiple $RISE launches.
• 2026 $RISE (current one, CA: 5zCypRD91xWpaQba5t2GG7QzEaJGTQzpYBZdeKuepump on https://t.co/pAZRcMOvrX): This is a new/revived version he claims to have CTO’d (community takeover). He says he accumulated ~80% of the supply in a public wallet after the prior rug to “give back” and create a fairer play—no KOL allocations, no malicious dev. He’s posting heavily today (buying more, creator fees, burn teases). It’s at ~$3M MC with high volatility.
Bottom line on difference: The 2025 one failed/rugged under (allegedly) shady original launchers. This 2026 version is him positioning as the new controller/fixer with heavy personal bag-holding for “transparency.” Different iteration of the ticker, same hype playbook.
