your .fomo domain is now live on robinhood chain.
a .fomo name replaces your wallet address with something people can actually remember.
instead of sending to 0x93b7…7e02, they send to alice.fomo.
you pay 0.005 eth once and the name is yours for good.
no renewals, no expiry date and no annual invoice, because the registry simply has no concept of a name running out.

New update : your wallet has a name now.
Pick one of your .fomo names as your primary name, and fomodomains shows it everywhere instead of your address: the wallet button,
the registry, the market, every profile.
0x93b7…7e02 becomes legend.fomo.
It's stored on robinhood chain, and it can't lie: it only shows while the name points to your wallet. sell it or repoint it, and it disappears on its own.
One click to set yours: https://t.co/l9IMmwrRiT
Every .fomo name now has its own page: https://t.co/gi3pnv7TZ5
Put an avatar, a bio and your links on it. people land on the page, see who you are, and get the address to send to, in the same place.
It's all on-chain. your profile lives in a contract on robinhood chain, not in our database, and one transaction saves every field at once.
And it never follows a sale: the day you sell a name, the buyer gets a blank page, not your bio.

Launching a token, a community, a project on robinhood chain? grab your .fomo name first.
One memorable name for your treasury, your tips, your team. put it in your bio, your docs, your announcements. people send to project.fomo instead of an address they can't verify.
cheaper than a domain name, and it never expires.

A good name is worth something. now you can prove it.
Short names, brand names, first names: they're scarce, and there is a market for them. buy the ones you believe in, sell the ones you don't need, all from your wallet.
Your .fomo name is the first thing you own on robinhood chain that can go up in value without you doing anything.

Major update: you can now send to alice.fomodomains.eth from any wallet !
Every .fomo name is now reachable through ENS. Open Rabby, MetaMask or Robinhood Wallet, paste name.fomodomains.eth in the recipient field, and it resolves to the wallet behind the name.
When your wallet asks for alice.fomodomains.eth, the resolver sends it to our gateway, which reads alice's address live from the .fomo contract on robinhood chain and signs the answer.
Works on Ethereum, Robinhood, BSC, ARC, Stable, and every Ethereum L2.
Try it: send to newupdate.fomodomains.eth

We're thinking of buying a .eth ENS domain and building a bridge to allow using fomodomains on any ETH wallet (Metamask, Rabby etc...)
What do y'all think about that ?
We just shipped a major update: .fomo names are now fully visible on-chain on blockscout !
Every name is now an NFT on robinhood chain, sitting in your wallet, with the full history of who owned it and what it sold for.
Registration, transfers and the marketplace all run through a single contract. buy a name and it moves to your wallet in the same transaction that pays the seller. no middleman, no database, nothing we can take away.
Your existing names have already been migrated. open your wallet.
The contract we wrote and every name minted so far:

If you build apps, adding .fomo names takes one line of code.
send a get request to https://t.co/rA6uDqR4SG and you get back the wallet address the name points to, plus who owns it and when it was registered. if the name doesn't exist, you get a 404. that is the whole integration.
There is no api key to request and no sdk to install. the api accepts requests from any website, so a front-end can call it directly from the browser. answers are cached on vercel's edge network close to your users, so a popular name costs nothing to look up and responds fast.
You can also do the reverse and ask which names a given wallet owns, or check whether a name is still available before you register it.

We encountered some difficulties with writing the solidity smart contract, which is why we took so long to do the update. We
We also had to write another contract to mint a new NFT for each already bought domain !
Big update: the marketplace is now live!
You can now sell your .fomo names for the price you want, and buy the ones you've been eyeing directly from their owners on robinhood chain.
No fee, no middleman, the eth goes straight from buyer to seller.

Here is a demonstration of how you can buy a domain.
Search a name on https://t.co/YJG2f2VJRp, connect your wallet and approve one transaction of 0.005 eth on Robinhood Chain.
The name is held for you while you
pay, verified on-chain, and recorded as yours in under a minute. No renewals, ever.
a .fomo name can point at any wallet you like, and changing it doesn't cost gas.
every name has an owner, which is the wallet that paid for it, and a target, which is the wallet the name resolves to.
but you can separate them whenever you want. keep alice.fomo pointed at your trading wallet this week and move it to your cold storage next month.
to change the target, your wallet signs a short text message that says which name you're updating and where it should point.
transferring a name to someone else works exactly the same way, with one signature.
