I’m honestly shocked by the DR Congo numbers. That’s incredible. Considering the level of economic hardship and poverty the country faces, I am curious to know what they’re doing differently to keep the numbers so low. There must be something worth learning from.
@xysist A while back there were a bunch of videos on the internet of Chinese roads and buildings collapsing because of over extraction of ground water reservoirs. I wonder how long it will take for us to start seeing the adverse effects.
I think this argument is largely flawed and devoid of a coherent thought process .
Water infrastructure is not a private solution but a public one.
Government through its agencies develops or is supposed to develop water treatment and piping infrastructure to all parts of Nairobi
When they fail to do so is when private parties do boreholes
Mombasa United have rejected sponsorship offers from two of the country’s leading betting firms, opting against partnerships that would promote gambling among young people.
The Sultans are understood to be concerned about the potential impact of gambling on youths in a region already grappling with challenges such as drug and substance abuse.

@christoo101@AlwayEbony@wilber1990f I get you, absolutely. But I'd rather not that. Sisemi racism ni mzuri but uko, una chance ya kukua hired fairly...
We have tribalism in Kenya. Nobody calls out that. I know you have heard stories about when your CV has a name Onyango and the hiring manager is Njoroge, your CV has a very high chance of getting trashed no matter your experience.
In the USA, of course there's racism, but, its not as vile as the tribalism we have in Kenya.
Watu husema ukiwa na Pesa Kenya utaishi poa but truth is; haishindi ukiwa na pesa mzuri majuu. Hapa mtaa hata ukiishi Karen na uko na VXL bado vumbi mtapatana. Imagine UK with your Merc ya 2025, unacruise M25 motorway no bumbs, unawatch Arsenal each weekend, health is 👌, huogopi kuvamiwa usiku ama simu kuibiwa, Emergency response under 10min, winter ikianza unaenda Spain…shida hiyo pesa naongelea majuu ni less than 30% wako nayo. The rest ni shift
The real tragedy of living in a third-world country is that you can do everything right and still struggle because the environment is designed to make ordinary things unnecessarily difficult.
