Ok I’m writing a more buttoned up post—My role as 2XKO’s Senior Marketing Writer was cut in today’s layoffs. If you enjoyed such 2XKO content as the Teemo Reveal Trailer or the Ties That Bind music video and need a games writer, hmu! https://t.co/l17G8HShE6
I was part of the Epic layoffs today. I worked as a Art Outsource Lead overseeing Fortnite Lego minifigs. I worked on everything from K-Pop DH, to huge streamers and minifigs for the latest Superman movies. If you’re looking for a Outsource Lead, Lead Or Char artist let me know!
Hey! Redownloaded this app to give the update we didn’t want to hear, I was impacted by the Epic Layoffs.
Over the past 5 years, I shipped 24 seasons of Fortnite 🎮🌎
If you see any production roles that would be a good fit - please send them my way on LinkedIn!
I was laid off today. I spent the last 2 years as the only UI Engineer on Festival, implementing new features like Local Multi-player, Festival Menu, Calibration, and new game modes. I dove into focus and input issues, often helping other teams with their issues as well.

Unfortunately I’ve been effected by the layoffs at Epic. If anyone has any job recommendations, especially work from home, I’d greatly appreciate it. I was asset implementation, looking for similar or art roles. Portfolio in replies. Thank you!
Ugh. I’m so sorry to all the Epic folks who got laid off today. Let me know if there’s anything I can do to support; happy to signal boost any “looking for work” posts/just be angry with you! The industry is so fucked rn.
Nearly 2,000 layoffs in less than 3 years and not a single person from the leadership team has been affected or voluntarily stepped out. These outcomes are their failure and their failure alone.
over 1000 employees. epic makes fortnite & unreal engine, two of the most popular products in this entire industry. this is not fucking normal. this is not inevitable or unavoidable. we are not shaming execs enough for destroying what we love in order to pay themselves millions
