#bbcfootball People are forgetting how exceptional Messi was from January through to the end of the season in La Liga, for a Barcelona side that have only shown how weak they were in his absence.
This is England cricket nirvana, Root is God, Pope Jesus (prodigal runs), the obvious. Why am I giggling in anticipation for Monday afternoon so I can listen to two Australian phucks living in Melbourne to give me my cricketing analysis? @gradecricketer@Channel4 fancy a collab?
My question is this - why can I not be just happy for my captain and friend for his successes? Is it merely due to an inherently selfish instinct in all bowlers, or a more sinister issue I have with cricket on the whole?
Any help appreciated.
@gradecricketer Hi lads, I have a problem - I’m an opening bowler and my skipper promised me the last over before bowling it himself. Understandably, I was fuming. Even worse, as shown in the video below, he takes two worldies off his own bowling. I literally seethed, twice.
See me number 24 reluctantly congratulate jog over to congratulate him for 45 (I’m not trusted in the ring).
Worse again, it’s caught on camera and over 100,000 people on social media get to see my rotund captain Dwayne Leverock two blokes in a set.
