After weeks (if not months) of user complains about claude availability during rush hours, anthropic announced huge server leasing deal with xAI/spaceX in Mai 2026. Amazon (AWS!) has previously spent billions on Anthropic.

The Pope is making exactly our point. LLMs “may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand.”

This is the core epistemic fault line.

Most AI evaluation is still based on one assumption: if a system statistically approximates human behaviour, then it is close to human intelligence.

But approximation is not intelligence.
Simulation is not understanding.

LLMs can produce the right answer without knowing why it is right. They can simulate empathy without feeling. They can imitate judgment without responsibility. They can generate coherent explanations without having a world to which those explanations are accountable.

Stop confusing behavioural similarity with cognitive equivalence.

Human understanding is embodied, affective, relational, motivational, and normative. It is not just the production of plausible text.

the solution was sitting in my notes (for obs videos though):
ffmpeg -i "input.mkv/input.mp4" -c:v mpeg4 -q:v 0 -map 0 -c:a pcm_s16le "mkvto.mp4"

Only missing thing was this edit option check in davinci. Solved via basic google search ai mode:

Again wasted 3-4 hours with claude opus 4.8 trying to fix conversion issues (from gpu-screen-recorder to davinci). The fix was so fucking easy in the end but claude was bullshitting me non-stop with wrong ffmpeg options. If I only read my old ffmpeg notes right away...

Took me 4 hours to get my first gitea action work!
opus 4.7 wasn't no help at all, pointing in 20 different directions and giving me contradicting suggestions. In the end it was just UFW blocking requests coming from docker. Light years away from AI replacing SWEs.

@Scav I was fascinated by Obsidian 4 years ago. Then I ditched Jetbrains for Neovim. It didn't took long until Neovim took over my notes management as well. MarkdownPreview, Marksman, Render-Markdown.nvim, Telescope, Treesitter and nvim-lspconfig make it a joy to use.
