Today, on Women Veterans Day, we honor the generations of women who have answered the call to serve our nation.
From the Rosie the Riveters who stepped into critical wartime roles during World War II to the women serving in uniform today, their courage, determination, and dedication have helped shape our military and our country.
The Rosies proved that women could do any job asked of them in a time of need, helping power the war effort and opening doors for future generations of women to serve. Their legacy lives on in the countless women who have followed in their footsteps, breaking barriers and continuing a proud tradition of service.
Today and every day, we are grateful for the women who paved the way and those who continue to carry that legacy forward.

Round Rock officers jumped in to help at local McDonald’s for a fundraiser supporting The 100 Club of Central Texas - serving up meals to give back to families of fallen and injured first responders.
McDonald’s is still standing, so we’re calling it a win.
