When Brent crude oil was $118, the price was rapidly going up. Now that the price has drastically decreased, why isn't it coming down in the same way?

Good morning Nigeria!🇳🇬
Nigeria has, for the first time, established a single, secure, and centralised platform that brings together education data across basic, secondary, tertiary, and non-formal education levels.
Through the newly digitised National Education Management Information System (DNEMIS), every learner is assigned a unique student identification number, creating a seamless system that tracks students throughout their educational journey while strengthening planning, transparency, and data-driven decision-making across the nation’s education sector.
APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has officially flagged off the construction of a 700km highway today on behalf of President Tinubu.
The road will link Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe and Bauchi-Biu-Maiduguri.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu
President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
@NGRPresident@NigeriaGov
On Monday, at the Federal Executive Council, our administration approved the most consequential reforms of the National Youth Service Corps Scheme since its establishment in 1973.
On the day I was sworn in as your President, I promised to create meaningful opportunities for our young people. I said women and youth would feature prominently in our administration, and this reform is partly the actualisation of that promise.
“David Mark was Senate President for 8 years uninterrupted but he couldn’t facilitate the construction of road to his village from Makurdi to Akwanga, he was always traveling with helicopter. How many people can afford helicopter? But today, the government of Tinubu has constructed the road under 3 years. If someone is doing well, even if the person is your enemy, tell him he’s doing well….”
BREAKING: NANS President Akinteye Babtee Babatunde has called out Dr. Rauf Adegoke, Rector of D.S. Adegbenro Polytechnic Itori, over alleged fraud in NELFUND loan disbursements to the school.
Babatunde said the school charges N236,000 for HND I but uploaded N350,000 on the NELFUND portal. He also said the school charges N152,000 for ND II but uploaded N330,000 on the portal.
He accused the management of charging above approved school fees and called on President Tinubu to intervene. Babatunde added that NANS will publish a list of all universities involved in the fraudulent activity, and that the EFCC will be petitioned to investigate.
I was honoured to co-chair the 4th session of the UK-Nigeria Security and Defence Partnership Dialogue, along with my British counterpart, Jonathan Powell, held earlier today in Abuja. NIigeria's long history and ties with the United Kingdom are as strong as the commitments we have to our shared values and mutual interests. This round of the dialogue aims to deepen our existing partnerships and future prospects.

We were joined by our highly revered fathers and respected @OfficialAPCNg national leaders, Chief Bisi Akande and Aremo Olusegun Osoba, as Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (@AdeolaYAYI), the Ogun State APC Governorship Candidate, formally presented his running mate, Mrs. Kudirat Abiodun Adegunwa-Balogun, to President @officialABAT, in Abuja.
Senator Adeola was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Temitope Adeola, while Mrs. Adegunwa-Balogun was accompanied by her husband, Hon. Abdul Razak Balogun.
The meeting afforded President Tinubu the opportunity to receive the Ogun APC governorship ticket, offer his fatherly blessings, and share valuable counsel ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
We are confident that Senator Adeola and Mrs. Adegunwa-Balogun possess the vision, competence, and leadership required to consolidate on the remarkable progress recorded in Ogun State. We appreciate Mr. President for his unwavering support for our great party and his enduring commitment to the progress, stability, and prosperity of Ogun State and Nigeria.
Governors Who Misuse State Police Will Face Federal Intervention - Adaramodu
If it is perceived that a governor is using state police to pursue a partisan, religious, or sectional agenda, the federal police can step in. The law provides that the federal police can take over the roles and functions of a state police force if it is found to be operating outside its constitutional mandate. These are important safeguards designed to prevent anyone from using state police for personal or political interests.

In continuation of the commissioning of projects in the FCT, the newly completed Phase 1 of the Kuje-Gwagwalada dual carriageway, linking Kuje Area Council to Gwagwalada was commissioned today.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, who was represented at the ceremony by Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, aptly described the completion of the critical infrastructure project as a definitive promise kept, marking a vital victory for the FCT’s rural communities.
As also posited by Mr President, with the construction of this road, we have unlocked the agricultural potential of the area, opened new residential layouts and made the area safe for residents.
It is important to note that upon taking office, I personally toured all six FCT Area Councils to interact directly with local stakeholders and listen to their needs. During those interactive visits, the traditional ruler of Kuje specifically highlighted the direct link between the area's severe insecurity and its broken roads, which made it nearly impossible for security agencies to pursue criminals, and pleaded for the completion of the abandoned airport road to the Kuje dual carriageway and later the Kuje-Gwagwalada road.
I am glad that the FCT Administration responded decisively to that requests, first completing the road from Garage Junction to the LEA Secretariat, and the Airport road to Kuje highway, and later presenting the Kuje-Gwagwalada road project to the Federal Executive Council (FEC), and President Tinubu promptly approved the contract award to Gilmor Nigeria Limited.
With the first phase completed, the second phase of the corridor is already on track to be fully completed by December this year. This will enable commuters to travel seamlessly between Gwagwalada and Kuje without being forced onto the busy federal highway.
Tomorrow, the 31 Days of projects commissioning will continue with the interchange and road linking Jahi to Gwarimpa.
