Sure there were some mistakes but I think he has done a decent job. Not sure why he had to quit. Unnecessary instability, not good for the country imo.
50 years on from the Summer of 1976, this is very likely to be a significant weather event. Some data models are predicting highโs of 38C midweek. June day and nighttime records are likely to be broken.
@jamespotter This is unbearable weather outside :D Sustained high temperatures like this will make a country less productive over the time.
I don't think London weather has ever gotten unbearable in winter in the recent past (~8-9 years). But happened multiple times in summer in recent years.
@hellonehha True, tbh I don't recommend anyone to visit London / Europe in summer. I wouldn't wish even a remote chance of being on Central line on a hot day on anyone ๐
"Any day >> 30+C weather day"
@BotsnBlocks I think my point was around to build a lean "stand-alone" agent as itself to get a hands-on experience in building it.
But sure if we need all capability that an agentic app like Openclaw provides, sure adding an agent onto open-claw makes sense.
Just checked out your repo! Nice!
@BotsnBlocks @kenwuuuu Building an agent on top of openclaw could be an overkill imo, if that's what you mean :)
We might end up building a "harness chain" ๐
i.e. Our agent -> openclaw -> pi / openclaws's agent runtime (-> llm / tool calls loop).
True! Honestly, heatwaves in the UK are becoming a real problem. If temperatures consistently exceed 30ยฐC, daily life in the UK would become incredibly uncomfortable. Without action, summers like the infamous 1976 summer could become much more common.
The UK didn't need AC that's why it doesn't have it.
Only in the last 10 years has the UK needed AC.
The problem isn't the lack of AC in the UK, it's that suddenly the UK needs AC.
@TheSnowDreamer Scary! Thanks for sharing data-driven posts here. I believe posts like these can help point us in the right direction and encourage us to take tangible actions to tackle climate change.๐ค
@Akintola_steve Yes, micro services are mostly a solution for organizational problems rather than a solution for tech problems. Sometimes org creates "verticals", completely disconnected from tech architecture, causing headaches in the name of "away teaming".
