Zofia Leśniowka - the first Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Women's Auxiliary Service (PSK).
She died at just 31, in the same plane crash which killed her father, General Sikorski.
The WAAFKI - nearly 1500 Polish women served with the Women's Air Auxiliary Force.

@polishodyssey@MagPaczocha@polishodyssey actually this survivor is traumatised by the raft ordeal. There was a moment we had to turn the camera off. It was absolutely devastating.
