On holiday in France at my birthday dinner with four friends, we had an additional guest join us…

One of the local cats just wandered in and gave us some hugs!

She was a lovely birthday surprise and very welcome. After a few minutes and a few snaps, she went on her way.

Out of 15 Non-Mounted Teams competing in The Queen’s Plate, only the top 5 progressed to the jump off — making it an incredible achievement for THREE Forces Equine Teams to finish 2nd, 3rd & 4th overall 👏

A huge well done also to FE Member Hollie Clark who secured 5th place with her Wiltshire Police Team.

Special congratulations to Police Staff Danielle Hughes of North Wales Police, who was awarded Best 2nd Round 🏆 A phenomenal achievement at such a prestigious event.

Every rider represented their services and Forces Equine with professionalism, teamwork and pride. Watching our members compete in such an iconic arena was incredibly emotional for our founders Debi Heath French & Major David Heath French RAMS.

Congratulations also to Army Team Marlborough on taking 1st place in The Kingdom of Bahrain Services Team Jumping 🇬🇧
