@BenOndaTop Zero chance the Astros are trading Yordan no matter who is hired as GM. The biggest question mark for me is Hader. If the Astros trade him, we'll know they don't expect to be a serious playoff team over the next two seasons.
@secupp Hard to believe that it's a revelation to any reporter that most Republicans are not going to abandon GOP candidates. If there's a blue wave, it will be because Democrats and anti-Trump independents come out to the polls in droves.
@BillShaikin Just another dumb article that ignores what Rosenthal's original piece made clear: electronic cheating in MLB was widespread. What made the Astros unique is an ex-player went public.
@Stingaree198@SleeperAstros It appears the ball was already over the fence when the contact occurred. At that point I believe the fan has as much right to the ball as the player. Could be wrong but I think that’s the rule.
@Chandler_Rome The change must begin with the owner. Crane is Houston's most successful sports team owner ever. But he's got to hire an experienced GM and let him do his job. Baseball is a game of adjustment, as every kid who's played baseball knows. Crane, whom I admire, must make adjustments.
@steveincypress@michaelschwab13 Truist Park was also nowhere near capacity at the start of the game. Day games during the school year are difficult for most fans to attend.
@Chandler_Rome@tmichaelburns Your piece is accurate. Altuve's error probably cost the Astros the game. But so might have Cam's horrible strikeout in the eighth, when he chased two pitches out of the zone for the third out. And we can probably find a dozen other instances of impatient AB's that hurt the team.
