@NonpartisanCat@digitalfoundry Would have been precautionary. Is quite a significant feature so would have been careless to just roll it out to everyone automatically from day one.
@DMC_Ryan I assumed they were planning (or was there a rumour?) that they’re doing a seperate multiplayer Halo. That would be massive if released with a selection of great maps across the whole series.
@tixwilx1916 Stop clock, would stop time wasting from fake injuries, slow spot kicks, late substitutions, etc. Game would end when the ball goes out of play after the time goes.
@jackal27 They need to have the drive as an optional add on for PS6, to support people’s ps4, ps5, dvd, and Blu-ray libraries. Would be a major fumble otherwise.
@vaughanilla_cos I think you’ll be able to buy a detachable drive for the PS6 for this reason. I only buy digital games now but would only want a disk version to play BluRays and old games.
Would be a huge mistake if they don’t have it as an option.
@dark1x@synaesthesiajp I personally don’t care about buying physical games anymore, I’m too lazy to swap disks, etc, but it is a very sad day for gaming when you can no longer physically buy a game and put it into a console. What happens in decades to come if PSN no longer exists?
@Crazed_Lfc@georgebsocial I came into the comments to see if there was anyone trying to deflect this onto PlayStation and wasn’t disappointed.
But…but…what about PlayStation?
Every single time 😂
@JackmoveJohnny Took a massive risk by putting 1st party games onto Gamepass at every tier, burning retailers and changing Xboxers’ spending habits.
Then went nuclear and bought Activision Blizzard in a last desperate attempt to move the Gamepass needle.
Completely failed and ruined Xbox.
