@headdock@drsanjaygupta Dr., you know that Dr. Gupta is a functioning part of the large propaganda cog our government uses to cause knee jerk reactions and fear mongering.
@Katamac1967@PainNewsNetwork So funny they push Gaba as an alternative & in my area of the country see people abusing & selling that med. more than opioids. I've seen young & older people alike buy it and put that stuff right up their nose.
@DrSeanMackey@bmj_latest The govt. needs to step out of how Dr.s do their job w/ how care & compassion is provided to patients. Then start letting the patient or addicted individual take responsibility for their own actions. It's not the govts. job to tell a law abiding person how to care 4 themselves.
@DrSeanMackey@bmj_latest Dr. Unfortunately the plans may be set but seems that CPPs are going to suffer. Aft 15 yrs as a LEO & CPP I saw the side of the war on drugs & right now is the same thing I witnessed w/ the Regan era of war on drugs. Truly does nothing but create money 4 prvt. Drug Reh. & L.E.
@Bris516 Sandra, I agree. It doesn't fit w/ politics of the day. Way this opioid rest. reminds me of mid 90's when big pharma let Oxycontin hit market & thought it would fix use of the presc. Opiates. We see it didn't. Feels like pharma is about to drop an new wonder drug. It is cyclical.
@StanfordPain@DrSeanMackey That is horribly inhumane. So what Oregon is stating is "If you are poor and on Medicaid and being prescribed opioid pain meds the person is a drug addict". That is just wrong in so many ways.
