My wife has been on methadone 4, 18 yrs. She was in study back when Docs were trying it as pain med other than withdrawal. Dosing 4 pain & dosing 4 addiction are 2 separate doses. Most docs don't use the ER vers. of Methadone for p.m.

Being at V.A. in SATX had to go bc of a fall/ to inflam my T-spine inj. E.R. refed. me any med but had my father go get my Fent. Pat. at home. He got them then Dr. told nurse to stick it palm of hand & to sole of foot. Freaked me out. Was most insane call ever in hosp.

Bad thing if we came across Fent. or Analog it has to pass throu. many hands to get to lab into a GCMS. What we tell L.E.O.s bc they don't have prop PPE in car. If in doubt call HAZMAT.

@Bris516 Sandra, I agree. It doesn't fit w/ politics of the day. Way this opioid rest. reminds me of mid 90's when big pharma let Oxycontin hit market & thought it would fix use of the presc. Opiates. We see it didn't. Feels like pharma is about to drop an new wonder drug. It is cyclical.

@StanfordPain @DrSeanMackey That is horribly inhumane. So what Oregon is stating is "If you are poor and on Medicaid and being prescribed opioid pain meds the person is a drug addict". That is just wrong in so many ways.
