Tremeirchion have their first Forest Church service tomorrow so the boys thought they had better check out that the fire pit and marshmallows are up to scratch 🤔
Rev Anikó Schütz Bradwell, the minister of Humbie l/w Yester, Bolton and Saltoun Church, led the congregation's first Forest Church service yesterday, with a great turnout from age 2 up to 80+ joining them. 🌳⛪🍃 @Humbie_Church
remarkably tricky locating forest church events. Websites have a habit of ceasing to list new services a year or two ago making it unclear whether the group has stopped meeting or whether they just don’t advertise to the general public any more
Just had a lovely couple of hours Forest Church Bathing. Want to join us at our next one. Do get in touch. The next session will be our normal Forest Church Gathering. All are welcome.
For an appropriate balance in TVS between traditional services in our church buildings, the life events we host & our newer ways of meeting God through praise services, blessings group, Forest Church, Walking Church, & Cafe Church. Giving thanks for such a beautiful place to be.
3 more ‘Out of the Margins’ podcasts recorded yesterday, many thanks to our guests, these should be out next month
1. ‘The everlasting alms’ with Simon Rea
2. ‘Forest Church for Dummies’ with Nicky Pybus
3. ‘The long and winding road, 25 years in Bethnal Green’ with Mike Houston
@Fruitsforest16 Oh amazing!! Want me to come and visit??
@_jamesb is this the right bit of West Midlands for your project? @Fruitsforest16 is a forest school practitioner in the area, here's some potential forest church? 🤞
@curiouswilds@_jamesb You would be most welcome. They have been running Forest church in the grounds of the church but I have offered my services every term in the school site, so my first one with them is 20th Nov which happens to be World Childrens Day. Il do another one in the Spring.
All ages are very welcome to join us for bird themed crafts, gardening activities and refreshments from 2.30 to 4pm. #stwss#forestchurch#communitygardening
