I think there's a graphics issue with the new 1.7 patch in Arma Reforger. Take a look at these screenshots, which were taken with the same graphics settings. The satmap texture substitution and surface texture tiling are clearly broken.

@SadStuart@ArmaPlatform I specifically launched the game and rechecked with this setting turned all the way up. It's the same, the satmap is replaced too early (which isn't the case on 1.6).
@SadStuart@ArmaPlatform This setting is responsible for the quality of cloud rendering and is usually set to low because it consumes a lot of fps (almost twice). You can check it out for yourself.
@MuTTnTo@ArmaPlatform Dude, it doesn’t affect the server, it’s literally a render on the client. The 2k drawing range is the range of calculation and visibility of the Entity, the landscape is rendered on your client.
For those who might think that the problem is in different graphics settings, this is not the case. Here are my graphics settings from the stable and experimental versions. They are identical.
@ksoloks@ArmaPlatform Перенос на актуальную версию движка + небольшие геймплейные фишки. Играбельная FIA, замедление от кустов, переработка инерции и стрейфов. Это то что, вроде было разгадано. Уверен будут еще чо нить. А если и не будет, то интересно посмотреть на стабильность и обнову движка.
@OV_BIX It is rare to find conceptually coherent servers. Most server owners create a mix of their projects, where there can be both cool, high-quality mods and trashy content (both in terms of assets and mechanics) that don't fit together well.
@OV_BIX A very cool mod pack, especially the aiming, weapon behavior after running, recoil, and slowed strafing. It's especially cool that the "Realistic ov" are modular and can be partially disabled. The reworking of surfaces for cars (forest, dirt) is also great.
@OV_BIX Sometimes I wish that some of the features from this mods were in the main game. For example, the eye adaptation fix (it's terrible in the game right now), more inertia and weapon movement during shooting. Restrictions of zoom and changes in fov when aiming.
@DayZ@TheRealFLEX93 Do smthng about it. Of course, the movement community damaged after the returns dependence of weight and inertia, but this is not enough. Even in this video, it’s not natural for a human to accelerate in a split second. Need smoother acceleration at the start of the movement.
