Filters aren’t an exciting business, but they are the unseen backbone of many high-flying industries.
No microelectronics filters, no semiconductors for AI or data centers.

The Sealed Patek Philippe Scam 🚨
Patek Philippe used to ship watches from the factory in plastic seals (sometimes double-sealed). An intact seal made them more valuable to collectors…as long as it stayed unbroken
There is a scam that I’ve been seeing mainly coming out of Europe
1. Dealer sources a fake Patek
2. They reseal it in a convincing Patek plastic bag using tools to mimic the factory look
3. Sell it as “fresh sealed” to a buyer who plans to stash it in the safe for appreciation (you wouldn’t buy this type of watch just to break the seal..it’s going in the safe)
4. Years later, it hits auction… and the seal gets broken. Fake watch revealed.

Brazil has many big box wholesalers (like Costco but no annual fee).
Monster is $3 at OXXO, $1.60 at a wholesaler if you buy 3+ cans. Many market-beating returns like this whenever you buy in bulk.
Oil prices remain near multi-year highs, inflation continues to be a major concern, and there's still ongoing discussion about another Federal Reserve interest rate increase.
This has reduced my enthusiasm for stocks, though I will continue buying.

There are a large number of fiction series that have run 100+ books. If they weren't profitable, they wouldn't have longevity.
Likewise, some individual authors (who are not household names) have been chugging along for 50+ years.
Writing is a bad business in the sense that almost no one ever makes $100 million from it — as opposed to ventures like manufacturing cardboard boxes or selling toilet paper to regional banks.
However, you can still make pretty good money once you know what you're doing.
