@vulturetrades Guess I should clarify—this isn’t a giveaway, just a little appreciation for the support.

@tradesviz Are there still some limitations to the custom indicators we can bring to bring into TradesViz trading simulator? I understand that complexity that’s comes with this, but it would be great if we could make any indicator we want and backtest on tradesviz
According to the new Topstep Live rules, unlocking reserve capital has become nearly impossible.
Example:
If you have 5×150K accounts with $106K total profits, your starting balance becomes 20% of total profits = $21,200.
So you’re still placed in the 150K tier.
To unlock the 20% reserve, you must make 6% of the 150K tier = $9,000 profit.
Yet your risk is based on your $21,200 starting balance.
30% of $21,200 = $6,360 drawdown limit before a shoulder tap.
So you’re expected to make $9,000 profit with only ~$6,360 risk buffer.
Profit target = based on $150K tier
Drawdown limit = based on $21,200 real balance
This mismatch makes unlocking reserves extremely difficult and doesn’t give traders a fair shot.
If the profit target is based on the tier, then the drawdown should be too — or both should use the actual starting balance.
Study the new Live rules and you’ll see how unfair this structure is.
