Another one of those #MediaNuns. Currently working on the Dare to Dwell Podcast and more, doing my best to give Jesus' love more audiovisual representation.
I have been spending a lot of extra time with the Founder of the Pauline family lately. I'm really loving him in a new way, so I thought I's start a thread with some of my favorite quotes from Bl. James Alberione, and probably just never end it. No theme or order intended.
Excited to share a clip of the audiobook of my Catholic vampire novel, The Curse He Chose! 🎧

I am THRILLED that my 2nd Catholic vampire novel is now out in the world! https://t.co/eRTgahqFgT
Thanks to the readers of Book 1 who were so excited for a sequel, & for my sisters @PBMPublishing for believing in this book!
I’m a nun telling stories in the genres I love. If…
When a religious sister felt inspired to write a Catholic vampire trilogy, she knew the inspiration came from Jesus — but she did not know if the other sisters would think she was “crazy.” https://t.co/Ea3G9amefW
Spooky Story Time 🌙📖🌹
The Curse He Chose is my Catholic vampire book starring Elizabeth (who loves Jesus, chocolate, & not being eaten vampires) & Christopher (a vampire outcast with a streak of conscience that keeps getting him into trouble)
Curious? https://t.co/JAvB3SSSuf

We have a new perpetually professed sister in our ranks!
Yesterday, Sr. Benedicta made her perpetual vows of chastity, poverty, & obedience as a Daughter of St. Paul, meaning she’s entered into the covenant of religious consecration with the Lord for the rest of her life.
I've been off of social media for quite some time. But for a good reason! I really wanted to take time to prepare my mind and heart for all that the Lord wanted to give. And his grace has been SUPER abundant in these days!
We are giving thanks for Sr Benedicta's perpetual profession last weekend! She has now made her vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, dedicating herself to the proclamation of the Gospel as a Daughter of St Paul, for the rest of her life!
A special Anniversary edition of this cherished classic! Includes:
- special new illustrations
- larger format
- life timeline and an epilogue summarizing his legacy as pope.
This October release is now available for pre-order at https://t.co/iCxaCgXHAd / .ca
@FrHarrison I mean, I see your point if people are genuinely only upset about what may or may not have been a deliberate mocking of something we hold sacred. If that were the extent of it, I'd probably feel similarly. It was the spirit behind the full display that made me feel nauseated
@FrHarrison Is it not appropriate to be outraged at the gross celebration of all sorts of vice, transhumanism, and a general disregard of human dignity in a moment that has been traditionally used to celebrate the beauty and good of the human person? And one with a such huge global audience?
@Sayde_Scarlett@TheHappyPriest Even if that's the true intention, and it may well be, there is plenty to make reparation for in the images I have seen. Not just this one.
I did not watch the Opening Ceremony.
The images of it I have seen pulled me back into chapel this evening to spend some time with the Heart of my beloved Jesus.
I invite you to join me in praying this Pauline Offertory, in an act of reparation for evil committed through media.
Our Sisters have arrived in Indianapolis for the National Eucharistic Congress! We spent today setting up our booth (Booth #1111), where we will have information on our life and vocation; books in English, Spanish, and Portuguese; and Sisters available to meet, talk, and pray!
The @crabbymystic (a.k.a. Sr. Mary Lea Hill) wants to remind you to attend her talk and book signing TODAY in celebration of the release of her new book, “Growing in Virtue, One Vice at a Time!” Join us at 10:30 a.m. or 6:30 p.m.
This, oddly, helps frame my experience as a religious during formation & a priest in a Newman Center.
Great confusion is sown when you try to frame ecclesial movements through a political spectrum.
Great beauty is uncovered when you view it as a movement of the Holy Spirit.
