Someone asked why I still work so hard.
Because it's who I am.
My work gives me purpose, my clients give me focus, and both help take my mind off living with MS.
I don't see that changing anytime soon.
A friend of mine has a challenging job and keeps saying, "I'm f*****."
I told him, "Say it enough, and you'll start believing it."
I wake up every morning with MS. I tell myself, "I'm fine."
Your mind is always listening. Choose your words wisely.
I don't like having MS, but It's not going away, so I focus on what it's given instead of what it's taken away. More patience. More empathy. A commitment to health. Helping others W MS. MS isn't a blessing, but those changes have made me a better person.
MS turned me into Mr. Magoo
I don't see or hear well.
My sense of smell & balance are terrible.
Like Magoo, I avoid last-second disasters.
The difference. He relied on luck.
I rely on determination and people.
We can't control MS, but we can control how we respond
I never imagined it would be difficult to walk.
I never imagined how thankful I'd be just to do just that.
MS is hard. But you have to become harder.
Control your thoughts, diet, exercise & supplements.
This diagnosis isn't the end.
It's the beginning of how you start living.
Not a DR. Not medical advice. My my experience. Been taking LDN 2.5 months, 1st time in 5yrs I can see red in eye that had optic neuritis. MS hug is less noticeable, Feet hurt less, sleeping better, & feel better overall. may be worth asking about #MS#LDN
https://t.co/IvImk38dTt After the USA Star Forward received a red card, Carli Lloyd said find a way or figure it out. An MS diagnosis feels like getting handed a red card. Out of nowhere, the rules change. Your body alters the game plan

Am I a fraud because I always say I am fine?I
MS doesn't get to decide who I am today or any day.
Every morning, I get up and fight.

Life can throw us unexpected curveballs- 2 hurricanes, 2 totaled cars, home gutted, complexities of flood, homeowner's, & car insurance, running my business tackling life's tasks 24 hrs a day not enough . Did I forget to mention I have MS
@MaggieMayTB I like your mantra. Pushing through hard things is the only I know. It has been my whole life, well before MS. Now I push harder to prove to myself that even with MS I am the same. SISU
Honesty is more than truth; it includes ethics, accountability, reliability, courage, authenticity... Not honest about my MS-not even with myself. Not in denial, but when people ask how I’m doing, I say fine. I take on tasks I shouldn't. 100% aware Not sure when this will change
@themsguide I don't really know what giving is. My mother had Parkinson's for 20 years (45-65) she never gave in and set a stand for me for my entire life. Want to hear more about our ride. Proud of you Dom.
It shouldn't take a hurricane, an emergency, or a crisis for people to come together, help one another, and act with kindness.
I've seen more goodness in people during Florida's back-to-back hurricanes than I have in the last five years.https://t.co/ztgHGBn1Fm
