@marygerdt@RachelHorne19 I haven’t had gadalinium since 2017 - the radiologist came to me after a scan and told me to refuse it from now on. 😳 gotta know what they saw.
@RachelHorne19@OvercomingMS@terrywahls Thanks! I personally do have an issue with dairy but I doubt it’s across the board. The timing of Dr. Giovannoni’s email was excellent - I’d already read through each paper when “that” video went up - ixnayed dairy for all based on EAE mouse data.
@MelissaLMRogers In rural Ontario it is bad! Things slowed down over Covid and haven’t quite caught up yet. It didn’t used to be so slow (I have MS so I’m very familiar) but much of this is because of our premier. Which isn’t a Canada thing but a provincial thing. Other imaging is fast!
@SalvMattera My daughter has never tested positive even when the whole family was sick with the same thing and every other person tested positive. 🤷♀️
@DrNeilStone I had remdesivir for my last covid infection. It’s a strong antiviral and worked well. If one is already dying? It’s probably not going to bring you back.
@Brandon_Beaber All of these things.
In addition, Epstein Barr virus reactivation. I had zero sick symptoms - only fatigue. Immense, mind numbing general and cognitive fatigue.
@Brandon_Beaber No surprise - its original purpose was influenza A antiviral and I’m not sure that any of us have reactivation issues with iA. Valacyclovir speeds my walk, helps fatigue and gets my brain working again. Me and a whole cohort.
Should be offered on trial (off label).
@drkeithsiau@SenRonJohnson Actually - the problem is that sometimes the symptoms of acid reflux are actually symptoms of low stomach acid. I’ve developed this twice due to medications. Which trashes digestion, causes all sorts of issues. PPI made it even lower and far worse. HCL betaine + pepsin - 6 weeks.
@internetuserf12 Voted yes, but the balance and driving issues were specifically due to EBV reactivation the infections I didn’t have antivirals for. *NOT TESTED - but I’ve done enough reactivations over the years to know the drill.
@internetuserf12 Oh also area postrema syndrome - I haven’t seen an actual lesion for that so I wonder if it was covid related inflammation. Gross stuff.
@internetuserf12 A new onset rare primary headache syndrome, ridiculous fatigue, cognitive fatigue, balance issues / went from walking well to being eligible for a very nice Tilite wheelchair in a couple of months.
I suspect EBV reactivated as well - which could explain the fatigue. Not h/a.
