@CptDarimdam there is nothing contradictory about these statements, the game's problems are simply so consistent throughout that even the strong aspects of B&W cannot counter them

2. dialogue wheel, very low in actual player choice
3. exploration is mostly pointless and unrewarding
4. every woman in the game is insufferable
5. the story isn't very good and the ending sucks, game isn't even actually about geralt

@CptDarimdam those are just fixtures of the game, no dlc is going to fix an inherently poor gameplay loop, you can mitigate this with a much more interesting location and a fresher story but it still falls short in several of the same ways that the base game does

hearts of stone is mostly boring, blood and wine is almost good but the story makes a lot of annoying decisions and features a lot of annoying characters plus you can't kill orianna for some reason
