End of season banquet, one last stop at the end of the road for this amazing bunch. A little later than expected, but well worth the wait. Tomorrow begins the next chapter. #family

Monday morning at work gonna be all like,
CO-WORKER: (sips coffee) So, what did you guys do this weekend?
EVERYBODY ELSE: (murmurs, shuffles feet, shrugs, sips coffee)
YOU: Oh, ya’ know...had a little March Madness. Filled out a bracket.
What a year, what a weekend @forks_red, proud of this group for battling through injuries and ups and downs and sticking together and getting the ultimate prize. Thank you for letting me be part of the journey.
As ever, thank you so much to our followers. You make it all worthwhile! 3,967 tweets later, we just might have run out of things to say. No better way than to say good bye to a season, though, than to win it all. And it was our pleasure to bring it to you.
As the Reds soak up the glory of a title, we realize that we're all heading back into a changed and uncertain world. We are infinitely grateful to the @NDAHockeyA for the opportunity to play. The decision to go forward with the State Tournament was no doubt a difficult one.
For the second years, an absolutely phenomenal way to top off their careers in youth hockey, winning the State Tournament. And for Wyatt, Bet, and Saylor, that's back-to-back Bantam A titles. #wheat
Conventional wisdom would say that you can't beat a good team every time. Conventional wisdom lost today. The Reds end up a perfect 4-0 against the Fargo Freeze, a worthy adversary, not to mention the team with whom the Reds shared the regular season championship.
The Reds finish their magical campaign with a record of 26-16-2, taking 20 out of 25 games against league opponents, including the last 3 here in Devils Lake for the 🏆.
What is there possibly to say? The Reds, down early to a very game Fargo Freeze squad, stormed back to a 5-2 win and a state championship. Zach Erickson with the hatty, Jake Jenkins with 37 saves and the W in net, Bet Tellmann with the exclamation point.
74 seconds separate the Reds from a title. Near disaster here, however, as the Reds sent 5 to the faceoff circle. We'll see what the result is as there is a discussion. There is a Freeze player in the box, so we're actually 4 on 4.
