I'm not sure what the lefties in Melbourne were hoping to achieve if the police let them through. Did they want a street fight with the cookers and Nazis? The best way to beat those clowns is by showing how happy and well adjusted multicultural Australia is.
On Threads almost exclusively now. So much better than it used to be, and a lot better than current X. The algo works better than X, and when a rwnj pops up with their BS, they get swamped by normal people. X is legit done. And @elonmusk can gfh.
@MarieIsabellaB@MrAndyNgo Why did you find that funny? Because you take pleasure in seeing non-violent protesters being hurt? Or is there a deeper reason that I'm missing?
@LongTimeHistory I'd like to see the tl on this, because, as it stands, he was missing for a week before the family alerted authorities. Did they not realise he hadn't returned for a week?
@xvii_507 Makes ICE look like dumb impotent goons attacking cosplayers, shows Portland to be fun, non-violent, thinking outside the square. Might be beyond the cognitive capacity of MAGA folk who think the whole world is a nail and they're the hammer, but that's ok.
My (American) mother-in-law loves Bones. During the 9/11 episode she was almost in tears. I still joke to others that she stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. To the rest of us, it's conservative Slop with only one mildly likeable character.
@Brocklesnitch Bones is conservative slop. They smirk and joke about every murder, unless it's a soldier or vet, and suddenly they're crying and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
๐ฝ If you spot a demon hunter, anime character or Disney villain out and about - youโre not seeing things.
๐ฎ Please be aware a gaming convention is being held in Melbourneโs CBD this weekend.
๐ฎโโ๏ธ Police have received numerous Triple Zero calls from across Melbourne.
@max_spooky@auteurtheory__@TheCinesthetic Why are conservatives and MAGA so accepting of AI? It's all over their TLs. It means something, but I'm not sure what, yet.
In this analogy, humans are the horses. So it's a weird argument in support of AI, because you'd never guess what happened to the population of horses once the automobile replaced them.
