@GadSaad@MarkJCarney Why is no one is talking about how candidates seem to be running a platform focused on the politics of another country? Aren’t they running for local gov? Pure exploitation of an international situation for personal gain. Ask her what her plan is for local roads.
@patrickbetdavid So some education about NATO.
1. They don’t help you in wars that you start and are the aggressor (in this case US)
2. Trump kept saying he didn’t need congressional approval because “it’s not a war”
So basically US is just paying Iran 6-30B for their uranium?
@E_Mtn_Man@GigglingGanon She literally said she’s new and didn’t know the process. Could she handle it differently; yes. Could’ve he handled it differently; yes. She won’t be making any decisions in that small town; she was not elected, just some hired clerk. She won’t be leading any defund police.
@E_Mtn_Man@GigglingGanon You saw privilege? I saw a confused & uncomfortable woman unsure of the law. She was older & didn’t grow up in a time of e/o walking around with a camera. She called the deputy to get help in a situation she was unsure of. A lot of people are uncomfortable being recorded.
@E_Mtn_Man@GigglingGanon I have no issue with this guy going on and requesting information. He is fully within his rights to do so. As is recording. But his intention behind his recording is to simply antagonize. The best way to get rid of these guys is to not react, which she clearly did not know.
@E_Mtn_Man@GigglingGanon I agree- the deputy chief was very professional. And the person working there was clearly frazzled. Not defending her, just hate pricks who are pricks simply for the reason it’s in their right to do so.
@E_Mtn_Man@GigglingGanon While true- these asshats come into public places trying to be smart spouting “🤓 code subsection blah blah blah” are f’n annoying. They do it for the sole purpose of a reaction & try to call it journalism. It’s the classic “gotcha” for views. Tell them to get a real job.
@BlakeBoyer5@golfopenger@marriedmn Same- nice talking to you 😊- we may not align 100%, but it’s nice to have a civil conversation about it; not always easy to come by on these platforms!
@BlakeBoyer5@golfopenger@marriedmn I think Marriage where both partners get to fulfillment in their careers is popular. 20 yrs here as well, this July. My husb says I’m the leader of our home. It works for us. He’s king of the kitchen & I’m master of finances. But I’m glad yours works for you too.
@BlakeBoyer5@golfopenger@marriedmn Have things gone downhill? Maybe, but many advances as well. I’m always wary of mistaking correlation to causation. You could just as easily link degradation of society to the increase in technology or increase in education- neither likely. What trends, studies are you seeing?
@BlakeBoyer5@golfopenger@marriedmn I’m sorry your wife is sick. Your comment makes you sound more like you are in a healthy partnership. It seems the OP leans in that direction with his comment about men having authority in the home.
@BlakeBoyer5@golfopenger@marriedmn That being said, some women are happy at being the stay at home wife- good for them; they can do that. Just don’t make it an expectation of society and impose societal roles on the rest of us.
@BlakeBoyer5@golfopenger@marriedmn Ok- you stay at home, take care of kids, cook, clean, etc. We can go back to taxing one side and maintain the nuclear family. I’m happily married, with kids, and a career. Some men are just sore because they don’t have their home slaves anymore.
@BlakeBoyer5@golfopenger@marriedmn Or the 50% divorce rate is women who have woken up, and realized they actually don’t need a man to be economically stable and happy. So they look for a partner, rather than a “keeper”.
