82 years today, St Ives RNLI remember the courage & sacrifice of the crew of 1939. Of the eight crew that launched the 'John and Sarah Eliza Stych' Lifeboat in storms in excess of 80-90 MPH to an unknown vessel, only one man returned home. Today we take time to remember #RNLI

Cold water swimmers, be careful; as water temp falls I'm told of "near misses". Be fit & healthy enough to do it (colder water is more stressful), don't go in alone, go somewhere safe, stay shallow, wear a wet suit, go in slowly and limit exposure time to less than 10 min.......

It’s 4 weeks since I came down with Covid. I now walk like an geriatric. I feel like I’m constantly stoned. I sleep all day. Can’t make dinner. Cant work. Can’t bring my kids or dogs out for a walk. Am breathless. Not visiting houses for a bit is easier than this. I promise.
