Not doing anything about inaccessibility is not a neutral act.
It is a hostile act directed at disabled people.
It is saying: “you haven’t been able to come in or have access in the past and we are not going to do a damn thing to change that.”
@MadiSP4321 I prefer my first name. I am a former preK teacher who moved to elementary. Schools made me use Miss, Ms. Teacher, Mrs. before my name and one admin said last names and I was like nope my name my choice of which one to use
IMO, you should never judge someone's inner qualities based on their dress, but you should know ppl may judge you. irony is that older men in hard sciences often look more credible if they dress slovenly, whereas women and ppl of color in humanities have to dress "professionally"
@BenisonMrs I was just talking to an SLP about why I hate the blending chart from F&P (in a class that does not use f&p but has the charts 🤷🏼♀️).
@NateJoseph19@BenisonMrs I know you don’t deal in antidotes here, but my kids stopped wanting to go to school because of recess being taken away. I’m very excited that California law is requiring that doesn’t happen anymore starting next school year
