I asked this old white man on the economic development authority in local town what they are going to do about the low income areas that surround downtown bc that’s the area they’re enhancing. Trying to make it more local and more of a community.

And he said “well when we make these plans for the community we incorporate low income options. Were creating options comparable to their current rent rates if not lower. The last thing we want is gentrification. We want one whole community.”
