Clarifying a misunderstanding on the PIA/NOR switch:
Mclaren has a pre-agreed situational set of racing rules, covering various happenings. It will be nowhere near as basic as ‘one parity rule’
Yesterday’s switch creates no precedent other than the same scenario occurring again. Anything else will be covered by a different rule/agreement.
So drawing extreme comparisons to ‘if one now stops/crashes does the other need to now park up’ doesn’t hold water.
As a Lando Norris fan I find it outrageous that Lando has one 3 out of the last 4 races and the only one he didn’t was the one I SAW IN PERSON AFTER DRIVING THROUGH 3 COUNTRIES AND DRIVING ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD FOR THE FIRST TIME
