The proposed format:

• Friday: FP1 and Sprint Qualifying
• Saturday: Sprint and Grand Prix Qualifying

"i’m really happy for pierre. yesterday, we were talking at the briefing and he was asking me a bit about stuff for turns 6-7 and i gave it to him. well, with pierre, normally, we don’t battle too much against each other, so as a result, we always share a little bit of stuff, and today, when i saw that he got pole, i was like: ‘damn!’

that’s what i told him in the car. but i’m super happy for pierre, he deserves it, he’s an extremely good driver. they did a perfect job today, they maximized everything, and with these cars, it pays off. it’s cool to see him on pole, really happy for him."
