Wonderful ideas were elicited throughout the workshops: lovely insights on the Irish Dance Halls - very popular in the '60s - and mythological pearls on the Inisbofin island. Magda has plenty of materials to develop two fantastic sketches. Stay tuned to see it, early next week.
The Walls Project and @WaterfordCounci are delighted to announce that the workshop activities for @ForMurals in Spiddal and Inisbofin - for @galway2020- were absolutely brilliant. All the workshops happened remotely, to comply with the current Government restrictions in place.
In the morning artist Magdalena Karol got to know the group of residents from the charming island of Inisbofin, and in the afternoon she worked with the group of residents from the nursing home Áras Chois Fharraige.
Join Edel Tobin from the Waterford leg of Murals for Communities and Katherine Collins from @WaterfordCounci tomorrow at 4PM Irish time as they will chat with the team at @CEDCultureIE about everything street art.

Saulė Juzelėnienė (@ktuspace) and Vitalija Norvilienė (Innovative Creative Projects) gave the interview on the topic how the art of walls is bringing people closer to each other and international European partnership of @ForMurals – Kaunas (LT), Waterford (IRE) and Heerlen (NL).
Due to the new restrictions, the workshop programme will be delivered remotely by Magdalena Karol and the islanders via Zoom and will then go on to paint in Inishbofin, where she paint a piece or mural art which showcases and represents these ideas.
