she shifts, propping her leg up beside themselves in a half-criss crossed sit now. with her freeing it up, she can focus on talking and not fidgeting !

( we get to check the progress of a lot of projects i help create ... all part 'f my job ! )

she gives a chuckle at the cautious excitement, in reaction— she knows to detail her trip a bit more. this is always how they would tell him stories, ramp up as they go.

( we're managing the development of something I'm building ! )

the familiarity was.. comforting, at least. no retraction of his paws as he let them clench onto her hands, what it meant being far more than just another method of communication. a small smile rested on tainted features as he waited..

“ @dovegored! What's this on about? ” She leaned delicately in front of one of the tapestries her mother had carefully groomed and stitched for haunted halls. She hadn't remembered if they had asked before —— if they had, it wouldn't had mattered now.

She loves Olivia, she loves how she can love a place most seem to hate because of the same reasons she loves it. Maybe that is all they need.

They perk up, with a soft smile, awaiting any answer.

as home, as a place she didn't have to 𝑟𝑢𝑛 from.
She thinks they feel their heart stop, so she puts the subject down. This whole time they'd been quaintly staring at the woven art on the wall, now her head finally turning to the well-spoken woman next to her.

[𝓵𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝓵𝒐⃨𝒗⃨𝒆⃨ @fornewts]

⠀
she knows curiosity when she sees it! and being a wanderer herself, they're more than happy to oblige for him! ... though, maybe she should be questioning why she isn't freaking out more.

“ you're 𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑒𝑎𝑎𝑎𝑙𝑙 far from home , huh buddy ? ”

a shine in his eyes.. gaze quickly straying from her to look around. er. this place is far off from the Dreamland he’s most familiar with! he’s highly curious, but isn’t sure if he wants to wander just yet..

.. he’ll settle with staying with her!

⠀ ⠀

[𝓵𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝓵𝒐⃨𝒗⃨𝒆⃨ @fornewts]

a short intermission to think, and also to remember how to move it out right— she was rusty, but not by a lot!

( i haven't really gone out much ... but me and mama were doing errands a day ago ! )
⠀

[𝓵𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝓵𝒐⃨𝒗⃨𝒆⃨ @fornewts]

⠀
she'd sit right in front of her, softly grabbing at their claws and intertwining their digits together with hers, a soft chuckle given about the feeling of it, she hasn't held his paws in awhile!

terrible, frankly. but what’s new there…? he’d much rather see to the whereabouts they’ve been up to rather than his own—
they always did tend to have much “funner” treks than he could ever embark on. a quaint criss-cross on the floor!
⠀ ⠀
