I'm a high school teacher (family & consumer sciences). I love my job because FCS is so versatile and hands-on!

@SarahLewisFCS Be a nice (appropriate) human. When they post something- remember it is representative of their family and school district. I think we need digital citizenship classes for all! Or a district-wide social contract #SM4ED

@MasleyMikayla #SM4ED Hi ! I'm Janine.. an FCS teacher for grades 9-12. Spirit animal is golden retriever by day and peacock at night.

[janine forry @forryj5]

@SarahLewisFCS Find out about their interests and tie that in if possible. It makes a connection & natural motivation #SM4ED

Agree to disagree. Will textbooks really disappear in the years to come? I myself prefer a hard copy of things and I'm pleasantly surprised to see so many students asking for a tangible paper over a shared collaborative doc. #edu963

Whose to blame for students becoming bored in school?! Learning is most authentic when there is passion, interest and meaning behind it. #edu963
