@helpinfriendly Totally agreed on all these points. I also think she could have been more diplomatic in how she communicated with them. Instead of just shutting down their bad ideas (like the voiceover) she should have said great idea I’ll take it into consideration & addressed the note her way

@djdredrama I also didn’t interpret it as her not taking their notes. I took it as she didn’t know how to make the changes. She didn’t have enough time. Writing takes time. A very seasoned writer might have been able to run with the notes in a time crunch. But she’s not a seasoned writer.

@djdredrama At the end of the day they should have given sis a finished script. She should have only had to make minor changes to dialogue and other minor things to reflect her creative sensibilities

@djdredrama Major story issues should be addressed by the writer. And according to IMDB only Phillip got writing credit. So not sure why they were putting it on her to make such important changes to script.

@djdredrama For them to ask her to do a complete rewrite of a script and shoot in 6 weeks is absolutely bonkers. I can’t believe the dga or wga didn’t step in and help her because that was abusive and I suspect some guild rules were broken with those demands.

@CamTenWrites They gave her a script that they knew was bad and unfinished. Then demanded she fix it and shoot the entire movie in 6 weeks. Then called her lazy and uncommitted when she had a hard time fixing the script in the very narrow time frame they gave her. It was super effed up.
