While celebrating the holidays our team was still on call. This girl found herself in an awful situation. She was found on the ground, picked up and put into a trash bag that was secured shut and tossed into the trash can. When she arrived she was dirty, severely emaciated
I would like to introduce you to one of the most incredible bats I've ever known: Otomops madagascariensis. This molossid species is an obligated cave-dwelling bat, endemic from Madagascar. Even holding it in my hands, it's hard to believe that it's real 🦇
