I’m a Hegseth supporter and backed him ending the force-wide flu mandate. That was the right call. But walking it back with these “exceptions” for recruits, deployers, and others is a betrayal of the medical freedom he promised. Close quarters or not, we just spent years fighting exactly this kind of coercion. Soldiers aren’t lab rats for the newest mRNA product or any other jab. Choice means choice.
