It is with the support of these teams, FKL family, government authorities, as well as partner organizations that the Indonesian emergency action plan on saving the Sumatran rhino gives hope for the future of the Sumatran rhino and one of their last wild habitats in Sumatra

Dedy sharing his @WhitleyAwards with the heroes in the field: some of the FKL rangers from 34 teams Dedy coordinates. Each team consists of highly dedicated individuals who conduct patrols regularly to destroy snares that threaten endangered #wildlife species in the #Leuser

During this grand event for conservation leaders, Dedy received a warm welcome from the Whitley team and so many supporters, including the Indonesian Ambassador and embassy representatives in London (@KBRILondon ) who also attended the event.

As a winner of the 2022 @WhitleyAwards , Dedy Yansyah flew to London to attend the first in-person WFN event in three years. Together with Whitley Award winners across the globe, Dedy had the opportunity to share and exchange conservation experiences and knowledge.

With great pride today we announce that our Wildlife Protection Coordinator, Dedy Yansyah, was awarded a prestigious 2022 @whitleyaward for his dedication to the conservation of the #SumatranRhino 🦏 in the Leuser Ecosystem of Aceh
