As a developer myself, building any new app, I’ll target the newest SDKs and then support that as the minimum for another major release or two. It gets more tedious to keep support of old SDKs in the code. Developer’s choice.

@SoVeryCuul @SnazzyLabs SwiftUI is limited vs UIKit. I will agree with that. With enough tinkering you can more or less get the look and feel that you want. Or use UIKit in SwiftUI. However, @SnazzyLabs asked why they just threw SwiftUI in the car and called it a day. It’s not the look, it’s a framework
