One year ago, Dmytro Kotsiubailo, commander of the Da Vinci Wolves battalion, was killed in battle near Bakhmut.

This was a great loss for Ukraine. Eternal memory and eternal glory to Ukrainian Hero.

The current commander of the Da Vinci Wolves battalion, Serhii Filimonov, shared how the battalion had lived without its commander for a year. They miss their leader every day.

Alexey Ivanov (shown) was the company commander for the 33rd OSN (otryady spetsial'novo naznacheniya) Spetsnaz Company based in Moscow and named after the Russian monk warrior Alexander Peresvet. Why the hell he didn't try to apply a torniquet (his belt or anything else) is beyond me as you would assume he had advanced combat medic training as a Spetsnaz SOF.
