Seems like putting flyers in a position of having to choose between using the comp fare or wallet funds if they only have 1 trip planned or are otherwise constrained. So @AlaskaAir either would pocket the unused fare or the expired funds after 12 months. Ugly.

I don’t generally find @AlaskaAir to be a cutthroat profit-over-all lone but change w/companion fare is awful for the flyer. Especially taking away wallet $ to pay for part of the comp fare. That seems like a deliberate play at having more wallet $ expire as flyer cant use em. 👎

@muscrdncr We are too often in a position where a bad luck call costs us. Better teams/coaches absorb these kinds moments while united gets obliterated by them. Changes needed. A lot of them unfortunately.

Good teams/coaches can absorb those bad luck moments. The last season and a half is one long bad luck moment.
