@BTOpenreach1@bt_uk My parents have been without internet and phone line for over a week now. Apparently your engineers keep closing the ticket saying there is no longer an issue. There clearly is still an issue. Please get this sorted asap (WR6 5).
@StokeyyG2 As a @WorcsWarriors supporter you, and everyone at Morecombe FC, have my deepest sympathies. I hope the situation can be resolved soon. Sporting governing bodies should have the ability to remove people like that specimen from owning clubs if they refuse to sell.
@RugbyWorcs I went to the Quins vs Gloucester game at Twickenham last month in a Warriors t-shirt. Had a few people say they were happy we’re making a comeback but no one questioned it!
Today, we’ve reached a new low.
We understand that the prospective buyers, Panjab Warriors, allegedly loaned owner Jason Whittingham a large sum of money in good faith, with the expectation that this money would be deducted from the sale price of the club. Instead, we understand that Whittingham is disputing that the money was non-refundable and won’t come off the price.
If true, this alleged behaviour is nothing short of disgraceful. It’s yet another example of a man who has no interest in what’s best for Morecambe FC. Because of this stunt, the deal is now once again delayed, as solicitors are forced to step in to untangle Whittingham’s latest mess.
Let's be crystal clear:
Jason Whittingham is the reason this sale hasn’t happened.
Jason Whittingham is the reason Morecambe FC is facing financial ruin.
Jason Whittingham is the reason this club may not survive 2025.
We say again: Not A Penny More. Until Jason Whittingham Is Gone.
