Had an amazing first experience with the Apple Vision Pro today at 5th Avenue in NYC, honored to be included in this video 🙏🏻✨

Seeing people’s reactions to trying Apple Vision Pro for the first time today was wonderful. Some people had tears in their eyes! Our mission is to enrich people’s lives, and I could feel that happening in real time. What a day!

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]

@JagCesar @tanmays Yes, will have to look into that! But it was also nice to start simpler to get the juices going 😁

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]

In love with the app page header illustration I made in #procreate for Ambre in preparations of the iPhone Duo release 😍

Will you be adding one to your app page too? Check out best practices below

@dezinezync Same, took me a while to figure out the different margins based on device and orientation. Was a lot of fidling back and forth until I made a nifty template in Figma that helped a lot 💪

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]

@No_Wham Haha didn’t you know? When cooking with Ambre it’s mess free 😁

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]

@viditb Every time I have their lasagna I want to carve a front door in it and move in 😌

[Vidit Bhargava @viditb]

Duo-Man offers the complete walkman experience on the iPhone Duo. Open the Duo to pick and 'insert' the cassette, Close the Duo to start listening.

Yes, I actually recorded the button clicks and static noise from a real Walkman!

It was fun making this at @bitrig hacks today.

"I didn't have a Mac. I didn't know what Xcode was. I knew nothing." — César Pinto Castillo, @ambre_app

He agreed to build the app anyway. Then bought a $150 PowerBook G4.

Could it build iOS apps? Nope. 💻

@DonnyWals I agree, one can't only rely on supporting resizable layout. There are views, depending on the layout, that need that extra attention to make it feel at home on the iPhone Duo.

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]

Update: It wouldn't build because of macOS, and I forgot to wrap it with the "if os(iOS)" in my test project. I've been using agentic coding so much this summer I forgot such a simple thing when coding by hand, hehe 😅

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]

Has anyone managed to get arrangementViewStyle(.split) on iPhone Duo to work yet?

It's mentioned both in the HIG and in this Tech Talk by Apple.

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]

@ntonmartinsson which Xcode are you using?

[Sarun W. @sarunw]

@lindadong Fixed!

Go to Settings -> Components -> and update iOS to iOS 27.1

[Linda Dong 🍉 @lindadong]

iPhone Duo Figma and Sketch UI kits are here! They’re in the updated iOS27 kits on the Apple Design Resources.

Happy designing 💗

@Chukwuemek87709 @JagCesar Yes, @JagCesar and I have built and designed the whole app! Thanks ☺️

[Sofia @FosiaDesign]
