The party I attended yesterday,

The host wanted me to cater all the food because, in her words, everyone always says the food tastes so good whenever I cater. But I told her I couldn't.

It's not easy having a fulltime job while raising kids and keeping a home. Adding catering to it would drain me.

So she asked me to please cater just the poundo, egusi, and efo riro. It wasn't convenient, but I did it.

I woke up early to cook and went for my makeup afterwards. It was a very busy weekend.

I don't even know how I was able to do all that after a busy 5day work week at my professional job.

My husband told me a story of a man who often have serious issues with his wife, in one of their conflict, they both agreed to divorce, and while the man was packing his bags, his daughter came in, and he said holyspirit told him right there that, if you leave, the cycle will continue on your daughter. That rang a bell and he remembered that in the wives family, most of the women are divorced. He dropped the bag, went back out and apologized to his wife, and held her and prayed that this marriage will not fail.
The purpose of union is for an intentional soul to just decide it won't end.
Having that intentionality strengthened their union and they're good.

Sometimes, you just need to break the cycle by saying that it will work out with me and be intentional to LEAD A LIFE TO UNITES AND BRING PURPOSE TO PAST.

Another year older, and I made the mistake of stopping to actually look around.

A boy who grew up on less than fifty cents a day is somehow here. Healthy. Surrounded by family. Doing work that changes people's lives.

Thank you God, and thank you to everyone who has walked this road with me.
