Hey hey FFUCERs! This week, we’ll be attending a screening of Fantastic Fungi instead of meeting regularly! Come learn about how mushrooms could save the world— this Thursday at 7 pm at the Esquire. We recommend you buy tickets in advance online as this screening will sellout!
“The Guardian will no longer accept advertising from oil and gas companies, becoming the first major global news organisation to institute an outright ban on taking money from companies that extract fossil fuels.”
A good start, who will take this further?

I’m disgusted by the idea that Michael Bloomberg or any billionaire thinks they can circumvent the political process and spend tens of millions of dollars to buy elections.
If you can’t build grassroots support for your candidacy, you have no business running for president.
“Thousands and thousands of dollars in debt to go to school at UC and my program had out of date and old equipment with no hope to get replacements soon, leaving me behind in my industry after graduation.”
“I work two office jobs on campus. My wages are capped... I don’t think that people understand that the University is literally profiting off of FREE labor from its students at this point. I have to meet the deadlines that are set before me.”
“I work for the College of Arts & Sciences and we are not allowed to buy scotch tape with university money because we are not given money. I had to buy my own scotch tape to bring to work to finish my projects for the University.”
Some of you may have heard of it or seen it floating around, but our latest project, created with other progressive groups in the Activist Coalition, is finally ready to be shown off. Friends and comrades, we proudly present to you https://t.co/iLI6zZJCaa.
If you are a college student please consider having your organization put out a statement of solidarity. And have conversations on your campus about the institutional racism you face there as well. #NotAgainSU
Black students have been leading a sit-in at Syracuse University for 6 straight days. #NotAgainSU has a list of demands for their university, including:
◾️Expel anyone involved in racist incidents
◾️Hire more counselors that represent marginalized groups
