If we really want to get rid of the culture of corruption, abolish city council and strip executive powers from the mayor. Build a system in which the people have the power to make decisions themselves.

The hyper-individualism of capitalist ideology is conducive to corruption. Coupled with a council of 9(+1) that has essentially no accountability to the people whatsoever, the democratic process has no face in Cincinnati. Putting 3 individuals in jail does not solve the problem.

Capitalist land development destroys the land and uses it to recreate violent white supremacist capitalism. The fact that one third of City Council is in jail right now on corruption charges related to land development is a double-insult to the people they claim to represent.
